Departure from Marrakech on a private excursion, we cross the High Atlas and reach the pass of Tizi n’Tichka to 2,260 meters in height, continue to Ouarzazate, we visit the Kasbah Taourirt and the movie studios, then continue to the gorges of Toudra crossing the most beautiful road of the thousand Kasbahs. Departure for the dunes of Merzouga, you will visit the Palm Grove which includes thousands of palm trees. The next day, departure to the Draa Valley, then the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, the Tizi n’Tichka pass, and Marrakech on the last day.

Itinerary

Day 1 :Marrakech - Ait-ben-Haddou - Ouarzazate - Dades gorges

We will meet at your hotel in Marrakech and leave the High Atlas through the Tizi-n-Tichka pass and small villages on a road that climbs the plains up to 2,260 m above sea level. You can stop at the pass for a refreshing mint tea and admire the scenery before heading to the kasbah of Ait-Ben-Haddou. You can visit the famous Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which has served as a backdrop for various films, such as Gladiator, Babel, Lawrence of Arabia, The Legionnaire and A Sahara Tea. After lunch, join Ouarzazate to visit Kasbah Taourirt, Atlas Studios, the largest and most famous studios in Africa. Cross the famous Valley of Roses and the Dades Valley, to reach the Dades Gorge in time to dine at sunset before spending the night.

Day 2 :Dades Gorges - Todra Gorges - Merzouga

In the morning, after breakfast, you will take a walk in the Dades Gorge, before taking the road of a thousand kasbahs by car, crossing the historic village of Tinghir and past various historic kasbahs to reach the Toudra Gorge. in time for lunch. Stroll through the Toudra Gorge before heading to the Merzouga Desert via Erfoud to arrive before sunset. The guide and the camels will be waiting to transport you to the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. After enjoying the beautiful sunset during this hour-long camel ride, you will arrive at the desert camp where you will spend the night in a Berber tent. Once in your desert shelter, your camels will be shackled and a mint tea will be served. After a wonderful dinner, look at the stars and enjoy your evening.

Day 3 :Exploring Merzouga wonders

After enjoying the tranquility of the desert and its amount of stars, we will continue this excursion to the desert from Marrakech and we will start the trip back to Marrakech. We will get up very early because almost 600 km of travel are waiting for us on roads that are not too friendly.
After breakfast, we turn on the engines and cross through the beautiful landscapes and villages of southern Morocco. We will pass through Ouarzazate, famous for its Kasbah Taourirt and its film studios. The city of Ouarzazate, current administrative center of the area was formerly the starting point of the caravans to Timbuktu, a long trip that lasted 52 days.
We continue going through the DraĆ¢ Valley and the Oasis that receives the same name, considered the most extensive in Morocco as well as the richest in the production of dates. We continue the trip little by little until arriving in the afternoon to the city of origin, Marrakech.

Day 4 :Merzouga - Rissani - Errachidia - Azrou - Fez

Early wake up for a beautiful sunrise, then your camel man will take you in a camel trek to your hotel in Merzouga to take shower and your breakfast. Then, we will drive to Midelt via Tafilalt and Errachidia crossing the Zizi valley and wonderful landscapes of the Atlas Mountains. some time at leisure to enjoy the beauty of the location, if you wish, and then departure direction Fes, via Azrou to enjoy the most beautiful landscapes ever in Morocco, and enjoy the small apes coming to play around. Then continue to Ifrane referred as Switzerland of Morocco. Stop for lunch before continue to reach Fes, overnight and accommodation in a Riad or Hotel.
